Tom Hayes, president and owner, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University. He has worked in the construction business nearly all of his life. Working his way up from a laborer, to framer, to superintendent, to general contractor, he has learned all of the building processes along the way.
His firsthand knowledge can only be learned through “on the job” training, and this training has given him the tools necessary to make your building experience an exciting and pleasurable one. This expertise makes Tom the perfect candidate to oversee your project and assure you receive the house that you dream of at a price that fits your budget.
Sue Hayes, vice president, owner and partner of 25 years, has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in public relations. She works side by side with you and Tom to help design and put together the home of your dreams.
Her passion is interior design and cost saving which is offered free of charge. Unlike some designers Sue is there to make your vision come alive while saving you money throughout the process, without compromising quality and allowing your style to shine through.
Andrew Hayes, field supervisor and son, has been with the company since he was a young child. Growing up he would wake up early with his father to rush to the jobsite and learn all he could about building. It was play for him then, but now he puts that knowledge to good use.
Now that he has graduated from The Eller College of Management at The University of Arizona, he is active in the business end of the company and is interested in taking over when his parents are ready to retire. This is one of the greatest compliments that Thomas Hayes Construction has received.
