What an exciting morning for all involved in the Brewer Home Project! Family, Friends, Colleagues, Crews and most importantly the Brewer Family, (Caleb, Ashley, Evelyn & Emily), were on hand to celebrate the completed framing of their house and an opportunity for all to write well wishes for the family on the unfinished walls and floor of their new abode. The Gary Sinise Foundation hosted the event and to engage and educate all involved in the project and community to see the progress of the house and of course visit with the new owners.
We would like to send a shout-out to all of GSF’s national donors and in-kind donors, their generous individual donors, and subcontractors with a special nod to local partners who have stepped up to support this amazing cause.
This event just happened to fall on 9/11 which brought additional reflection and acute awareness to all that attended that we live among those that continue to serve and sacrifice for our country.
It is an honor for Hayes Construction to have been selected by the Gary Sinise Foundation to be the builder of this new home for the Brewer Family and we eagerly anticipate the day they receive the key (tablet) to their new specially adapted smart home!
